Headquartered in Frankfurt am Main Infraserv Höchst is the operator of technically demanding infrastructures for companies in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry as well as related process industries. The introduction of mobileX-Dispatch shall optimize the planning and management of more than 400 service calls per day in facility management at Industriepark Höchst.
To date, four dispatchers used a self-developed tool for scheduling. They plan and control the operations of 75 own service technicians, as well as foreign companies in facility management. The site is home to some 90 companies in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, basic and specialty chemicals, crop protection, food additives and services. Each technician handles four jobs per day on average. These are services in the areas of site services, energy, waste management and logistics.
To speed up the process and to provide employees with a contemporary, user-friendly interface Infraserv Höchst started looking around for a new solution mid 2014. The decision was made for mobileX-Dispatch. The solution involves the order data from SAP PM. The dispatcher sees all resources as well as SAP PM orders and notifications clearly in the Gantt chart as well as on a map display.
The implementation of mobileX-Dispatch began in December 2014. Since early March 2015, the system is productive.
The Infraserv Höchst Group has around 2,500 employees and 162 vocational trainees. Its wholly owned subsidiaries include Infrasite, Infraserv Logistics and Provadis Partner für Bildung und Beratung. In 2015, Infraserv Höchst and its subsidiaries generated approx.
