mobileX has been able to win the Aebi Schmidt Group as a new customer for mobileX-Dispatch, the software for the scheduling of field service technicians. The Aebi Schmidt Group is the worldwide leading provider of intelligent product systems and services for the cleaning and clearing of traffic areas as well as the maintenance of green spaces in demanding terrain. With the introduction of the software, the Group intends to standardise and optimise the deployment planning of its fitters. In addition, the centralized planning is intended to improve the transparency and efficiency of order processing for faults and maintenance. Before the software is used in all national organizations, it is now only being implemented in Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
In order to centralise the deployment planning and to be able to standardise it across all countries, Aebi Schmidt was looking for a scheduling solution with which the utilisation of the fitters could be planned and optimised and a central order creation in SAP could take place. Such a solution relieves the office staff in particular. The effort and potential sources of error when sending and coordinating a mixture of manually and electronically created and transmitted documents are significantly reduced.
The decisive factor in favour of mobileX-Dispatch was the wide range of functions of the solution, including automatic planning, as well as the fast rollout, which enables Aebi Schmidt to use the software already for the coming winter operation. The software will run in the mobileX-ServiceCloud as an SaaS solution.
