mobileX has won the HÜBNER Group as a new customer for the mobileX-ServicePlatform, mobileX’s public cloud solution for digital deployment planning and order processing in technical service. HÜBNER has been supplying innovative products and services for the transport sector for decades. The company is a global leader in the field of transition systems for rail vehicles and buses, and is also a supplier of chassis technology and cockpit display solutions and door seal and safety profiles. With the introduction of mobileX’s Field Service Cloud, HÜBNER aims to standardize and digitalize service processes for the Mobility Rail and Mobility Road business units and pave the way for a global system that supports the expansion of the service business.
Previously, dispatching and order processing for HÜBNER’s service technicians for the two business units Mobility Rail and Mobility Road was paper-based. The dispatchers planned with Excel lists and the technicians received their orders as printouts. The technicians’ service reports were filled out manually and then scanned in.
In order to digitize and standardize the service process, HÜBNER 2021 looked around for a field service management solution. After an initial test phase of the mobileX ServicePlatform in March 2022, the company decided in favor of mobileX in July 2022. The decisive factor was the flexibility of the mobileX with regard to HÜBNER’s requirements and the opportunity to help shape the development of the mobileX ServicePlatform. The introduction of the Field Service Cloud at HÜBNER is to be part of a global, digital after-sales & service system – from the customer portal to the integration of service partners.
The mobileX-ServicePlatform is a field service cloud for digitizing deployment planning and order processing in technical service. It connects all parties involved, such as dispatchers, technicians, service managers, and subcontractors, and digitally maps all relevant processes, from order creation to scheduling of technicians, order processing on site, and documentation. The interface of the Field Service Cloud is very intuitive and user-friendly, so that employees can start directly with minimal training effort.
