SAP CRM Interface
The SAP CRM (Customer Relationship Management) interface, developed by our partner ORBIS, enables customers of different industries to directly integrate our mobile planning software, mobileX-Dispatch, into SAP. Our mobile solutions, mobileX-MIP for Field Service and mobileX-CrossMIP, can also be seamlessly integrated into the service processes of companies. This enables customers like Henry Schein to map and plan their technical customer service transparently and across departments.
The ORBIS mobileX interface for SAP CRM supports all important applications in field service management by bidirectionally exchanging the relevant data such as resources, service requirements, products and deployments in real-time. At the same time, SAP CRM remains the leading system for master and movement data, eliminating the duplication effort of maintenance.
The replication of the data takes place via the middleware integrated in SAP CRM. With the SAP CRM interface, a new site type is delivered, in which all the modules for simple data integration are located.
A SAP CRM interface for (almost) all cases
The SAP CRM interface makes it possible to write and read extensive basic data. This ranges from long texts to documents. It also allows access to all relevant, specific master data in connection with a service order, ie contract partners such as customers or goods receivers, as well as installation, service products and spare parts.
Ressources and qualifications
Via the ORBIS mobileX interface, resources can be transferred from the "Employees" and "Service Agreements" business objects. This includes the respective qualifications, contact data and the membership of service teams. In addition, the available times for the display and usage in mobileX-Dispatch and mobileX-MIP are determined. This allows companies to plan their operations more efficiently and provide their customers with an improved service.
Integration of the technical customer service
By integrating the ORBIS-mobileX interface with SAP CRM, numerous applications for technical customer service can be covered. This includes, among other things, the reading of orders including operations and numerous other order-related information (object list, components, partners, products, etc.).
With these data, the deployments of the service technicians are optimally planned in mobileX-Dispatch. The result of the planning is then returned to SAP as an application via the interface as an application.
During the execution of the service application with a MIP client, the technician creates a follow-up of the order for the service confirmation with material and time as well as notes with different text types. The technician receives not only the order details, but also the technical structure - Installed Base and Equipments.
Connection of material management
The material management (MM) in SAP ERP can be integrated through the SAP ERP Add-on of mobileX. Whether it is to read the inventory or to retrieve or process orders as a BANF or stock transfer order. The consumption of material from the warehouse or from reservations as well as for the installation or extension of equipment is also integrated. This enables a much more efficient material management, as the technicians can maintain the stock of their vehicle stock and place orders on the road.
Connection of customer specific time management
Times that can not be booked for service assignments, such as holidays, training, illness or inventory, can be transferred to the customer-specific time management via Z tables.
