mobileX AG has won InfraServ Wiesbaden Technik GmbH & Co. KG (ISW-Technik) as a new customer for mobileX-MIP for Field Service, the mobile solution for service technicians. With the introduction of the mobile solution, the innovative technical service provider in industrial service, construction and building management as well as in automotive engineering will standardize and optimize the order processing of its service technicians in the maintenance of devices and systems. The project is intended to create the conditions for further digital follow-up processes, reduce service costs and improve service efficiency in other areas in the future. Currently, a service workshop in the industrial park is already working with the mobile solution. Rollout for further service units is planned.
ISW-Technik is part of the InfraServ Wiesbaden group of companies, which offers a complete infrastructure to the companies located in the Kalle-Albert Industrial Park and a comprehensive service portfolio to these companies as well as to medium-sized companies in the region. Up to now, the service technicians used numerous paper-based forms for maintenance work to provide services to the customers. In order to optimize service processes due to strong growth, the company was looking for an intuitive, future-proof and offline-capable solution for integration into SAP CS and PM in 2018. The decisive factor in the decision for mobileX-MIP was above all the adaptability of the solution to the special requirements of the industry. A further decision factor was the dynamic forms, which as an additional module of the mobile solution enables technicians to transfer data and processes from existing forms to the digital world and to post them in SAP. After the start of the project in December 2018, the rollout followed with a pilot group in summer 2019.
