The introduction of mobileX-Dispatch aims to further optimize and increase the efficiency of the planning and management of commissionings as well as of maintenance and service calls in the international development of the company.
Previously dispatchers planned the jobs of more than 350 service technicians in 22 countries without a special planning program. This includes both commissionings as well as maintenance and service operations that require planning of technicians and days. In the first phase, the introduction of mobileX-Dispatch for dispatchers in Germany is planned. They create jobs and resources in order to help them then to plan with mobileX-Dispatch.
The implementation of mobileX-Dispatch has already begun. The production start is scheduled for spring, 2015. Next, the solution should also be extended to the dispatching teams in the other countries. For the future it is planned to connect the service technician via the mobile solution mobileX-MIP for Field Service to the back-office. Like that they will be able to fill in their feedback reports on the go and then transmit them directly to SAP CS.
